The benefits of The Blend were detailed in a recent article from Regina Ragone, RDN for The Epoch Times. “Enter mushrooms. Making your burgers with a mix of ground meat and finely chopped mushrooms is a great way to cut down on meat, without sacrificing flavor,” Ragone explains. The article also highlights how mushrooms can help support a healthy immune system.

In the trades, the announcement of the winners of the Blended Burger Project Home Edition received coverage in Perishable News and The Packer.

Catersource shared Mushroom Council’s Mighty Mushroom Blended Burger recipe as part of their Recipe Friday series. The article notes that a blended burger is “the perfect mix of finely-diced mushrooms and bona fide beef. Not only has it reached celebrity status in a James Beard Foundation chef competition but it’s also a better-tasting, better-for-you, easy-to-make burger at home.”
