Monterey Mushrooms’ VP of Marketing Development and VP of Sales and Marketing were interviewed on this week’s episode of The Produce Moms Podcast. In the episode, they discuss increasing mushroom sales, vitamin D nutritional information as well as The Blend and BBP (~12:00-14:00 of episode).

Finally, The Packer shared recent IRI data, noting that at 30.5% YOY increase, mushrooms are among the “top-selling vegetables experiencing the most growth at retail.” In fact, mushrooms are the top-selling produce item for the week, with potatoes coming in second with a 26.9% YOY increase.
