It has been another exciting week for mushrooms as top consumer publications focus on fungi.
Of note, Food & Wine shares ‘7 Simple Ways to Make a Better Burger at Home, According to Chefs.’ One key tip? “For a more flavorful burger without all the meat, add some mushrooms to the mix,” says chef and BBP participant Nick Mezzina of Misconduct Tavern in Philadelphia.
On the nutrition front, mushrooms are all the rage. Men’s Health and Muscle & Fitness both published two-page spreads showcasing the many health and flavor benefits of ‘shrooms.
