This week’s media featured some noteworthy mentions of blended burgers.

The Takeout, a new food and pop culture website, spotlighted blended burgers in an article titled ‘This Cheeseburger has ⅓ Less Fat and You’ll Never Notice the Difference.’ It has received hundreds of reader comments and social media shares.

A blended burger media tour participant for Men’s Journal touts the nutritional value of mushrooms in an article titled ‘Turns Out Even Regular Mushrooms Have Magic Properties.’ The article concludes with the call to action, “Aim to include mushrooms in meals a few times a week. If you’re looking to go easy on red meat (also advisable for your heart), combine chopped mushrooms with ground beef in a 50-50 blend to make umami burgers, or mix them with red sauce for an earthy ragù.” included Logan Guleff’s Mushroom Monster Burger in a roundup of ‘Healthy but hearty beef recipes.’
