Registered dietitian Patricia Bannan shared The Blend™ in a segment last week with KTLA Los Angeles, one of the nation’s largest local market newscasts. Bannan shared tips and tricks to help kids find healthy eating habits, including blending fresh mushrooms into meatballs.

Last week, MOD Pizza debuted their new Super Shroom Pizza on their menu featuring mushroom pesto. Among multiple trades covering the launch, Nation’s Restaurant News highlighted the recent menu addition in their Menu Tracker, and Pizza Magazine Quarterly gave the story a full feature.

Mushrooms continue to place atop 2023 trend lists, this week with a twist. Mushrooms made Salon’s 2023 cocktail trends list with a unique take on the classic martini. The article mentions, “Mushrooms have been a main character lately. As an easy swap for meat (thanks to their sumptuous texture and endless varieties), there’s truly something for everyone with mushrooms.
