Description

This delicious, mushroom-filled Sloppy Joe recipe is a healthy spin on your typical Sloppy Joe and was inspired by the Virginia Beach City Public Schools recipe.


Ingredients

  • Ground Beef- 18lbs
  • Cooking Spray- 6 sprays
  • White Mushrooms- 3.5 lbs
  • Chopped Onion- 1lb
  • Garlic Powder- 1.8 tsp
  • Tomato Paste- 6 lbs
  • Ketchup- 13.6 lbs
  • Water- 1 3/4 pt
  • White Distilled Vinegar- 1 qt
  • Ground Mustard- 1/2 cup
  • Black Pepper- 1 1/2 tsp
  • Brown Sugar- 1 cup
  • Whole Grain Buns- 100 each
