Mushrooms in the News: 11-14-2022

With holidays nearing, mushrooms continue to earn widespread coverage in seasonal-centric recipe articles. AllRecipes dedicated a full spread in their print magazine to the magic of mushrooms, while USA Today included mushrooms in their gallery of easy Thanksgiving appetizer recipes. Stuffed mushrooms, an easy appetizer, were also featured by Eating Well and WWITV.

Stepping away from the traditional appetizers, Food & Wine shared a recipe for Posole Rojo as a way to change up your holiday meal. Food & Wine also shared a recipe for King Trumpet Schnitzel with Mixed Herb Pesto. 

Breakfast was on the menu as well. AllRecipes shared their recipe for Salmon & Swiss Chard Quiche, while Southern Living shared a Cheesy Mushroom Spinach Mini Frittatas recipe.

On the local front, the Philadelphia Inquirer created an in-depth feature on mushroom production in the Kennett Square region.
